Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven, and strategic Category Manager to lead and optimize our consumer electronics merchandising and procurement operations. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end category management of a wide portfolio of 4,000 to 16,000 SKUs, including gadgets, smart devices, audio, cameras, storage, laptops, and gaming products.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in sourcing, ordering, negotiating, and purchasing from a broad vendor network, with strong knowledge of product trends and pricing strategy in the tech and consumer electronics space. As a managerial role, this position requires the ability to lead and motivate a small team, while actively engaging in daily operations and executing category plans with a doer-of-the-action mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end merchandise planning and category management process, including product sourcing, price negotiation, vendor management, inventory planning, and purchasing.
Oversee a wide-ranging portfolio of 4,000 to 16,000 SKUs across multiple consumer electronics categories.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and consistent product availability.
Identify opportunities for category expansion, product rationalization, and market differentiation.
Analyze sales data, consumer trends, and inventory metrics to guide buying strategies and category performance.
Drive alignment between merchandising, sales, logistics, and marketing to optimize sell-through and maximize margins.
Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, promotional strategies, and product lifecycle management.
Mentor, manage, and motivate a small team of buyers or category specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Salary:
₱80,000.00 Monthly
