The IT generalist will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day processes of our IT operations, ensuring trouble-free
support of internal IT infrastructure as part of our fledging informatics division, and contributing to the development
and integration of our state-of-the-art Informatics system. With our focus on medical equipment distribution and
diagnostic radiology services, we offer an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the health informatics
division of a established Filipino medical company.
Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure Management: Maintain and manage the company's IT infrastructure, including networking,
systems, and hardware. Ensure smooth operations of consoles and connection with modalities for medical
equipment (MRI, CT, XR, Ultrasound), guaranteeing optimal performance and connectivity. The employee shall
also be required to travel to various external sites to undertake systems integration processes as well.
IT Asset Management: Implement IT asset management initiatives and also usage policies to ensure tracking of
devices and that proper maintenance/updates are performed to keep systems in optimal working order. In addition,
upon turnover of devices, they must be restored (and data backed-up) to ensure that devices are ready for use
upon assignment.
IT Policy enforcement: The employee shall review that IT policies are regularly enforced with respect to
hardware, software, and cloud storage usage. In particular, security policy must be strictly monitored to ensure
that sensitive company data is secure.
Support for Informatics Division: Collaborate with our informatics team, consisting of full-stack developers and
back-end developers. Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and facilitate effective communication
between the informatics division and the rest of the organization.
Informatics System Integration: Contribute to the development, integration, and deployment of our innovative
Informatics system. While not required to be a software developer, a basic understanding of software development concepts will be a valuable asset in this role.
IT Helpdesk Support: Act as the first point of contact for all IT-related inquiries from employees. Provide timely
and effective technical support, addressing issues ranging from hardware and software problems to connectivity
and access concerns.
Security and Data Protection: Implement and oversee IT security measures to safeguard company data and
systems. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and
industry best practices.
Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors for IT-related services and solutions. Evaluate vendor
offerings, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective solutions that align with company requirements.
