Job Description
Certification or degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
Proven experience in performing various ultrasound examinations.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Understanding of patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
Physical stamina to assist patients and stand for long periods.
Willingness to work flexible hours if necessary.
Responsibilities:
Operate ultrasound equipment to capture diagnostic images.
Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures.
Maintain and calibrate ultrasound machines regularly.
Document and report preliminary findings to physicians.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals for accurate diagnosis.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Manage patient records and imaging data securely.
Stay updated with latest ultrasound technology and techniques.
Assist in training junior staff and students if required.
