Job Description
The AC technician's duties will involve installing, maintaining and repairing air conditioning systems, diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
Installation, Installing new air conditioning units, systems, and components, including ductwork and electrical wiring.
Maintenance, Performing regular inspections, cleaning, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
Repair, Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions, replacing worn or damaged parts, and addressing system issues.
Customer Service, Communicating effectively with customers, explaining repairs, and providing recommendations for improving system efficiency and comfort
Safety, Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes related to HVAC systems.
Record Keeping, Maintaining accurate records of work performed, parts used, and customer interactions
Technical Skills, Understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical wiring, and HVAC systems.
Problem-Solving, Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC system issues.
Communication, Effective communication skills to explain technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
Customer Service, Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with clients.
Mobile App Adaptability, well versed in using mobile applications and is flexible to mobile apps that will be used as tools in work management.
Qualifications
Has at least 6 months of related work experience in repairs and maintenance (specifically with aircon equipment).
Ability to communicate clearly in verbal & writing form and proficient in reading work plans.
Amenable to work on a shifting schedule, dominantly night shift for preventive maintenance program execution.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
At least a Vocational Course Graduate, having NC-II in RAC/DomRAC Servicing is an advantage
