Job Description
● Build and report on quarterly and annual hiring plans.
● Create and publish job ads in various portals
● Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events
● Collaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for future employees
● Source candidates by using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
● Screen resumes and job application
● Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates
● Ensure minimum qualifications are met for position postings
● Interview candidates in-person for a wide range of roles (junior, senior, and executive)
● Participate in the interview and selection process by making recommendations on candidate suitability for positions
● Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing it. Develop postings, job descriptions, and position requirements.
● Perform reference checks or background of past employment, as needed.
● Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-file and source of hire.
● Designing, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys
● Performs Job Analytics
● Writing and posting job descriptions on various platforms to attract qualified candidates.
● Screening and shortlisting candidates based on established criteria
● Maintaining a database of potential candidates for future job openings
● Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
● Conducting initial interviews and coordinating follow-up interviews with team leaders or direct supervisors
● Managing the job offer process, including negotiating employment terms and finalizing offers.
● Organizing and participating in job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong employer brand.
● Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in recruitment and employment practices.
● Complete any additional work-related tasks assigned by management in a timely and efficient manner
Qualifications:
● Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter or similar role.
● Hands-on experience with the largest job sites.
● Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook, Jobstreet, Jora, Indeed, Bossjob, Github, Stack Overflow and other recruitment tools.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, good written and verbal communication skills.
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in a recruitment role.
● Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
● Excellent knowledge of employment laws, especially the ones related to recruitment
● Great negotiation skills
● BS in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or relevant field.
