Job Description
The Taxes and Expense Coordinator is a specialized role within the finance department, responsible for managing, reviewing, and processing tax-related data and business expenses. This position ensures the accurate tracking of expenses, tax documentation, and compliance with company policies, all while maintaining a focus on operational efficiency. The role is critical for ensuring that financial transactions related to taxes and expenses are documented and processed with minimal errors. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, making use of advanced Excel functions and data entry skills to support the organization’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Expense Management: Process and verify company expenses, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with policies.
Tax Data Coordination: Assist in preparing and filing tax documents, ensuring accurate data entry.
Data Entry & Reporting: Input financial data with accuracy, generate reports, and reconcile accounts.
Collaboration & Communication: Work with teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance.
Software & Systems Use: Utilize advanced Excel functions and manage data on dual monitors.
Process Improvement: Suggest ways to optimize reporting processes and reduce errors.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure proper storage and accessibility of financial documentation for audits.
Qualification:
Education requirements: Associates Degree/Jr College.
3 years Accounting Finance experience required.
Strong PC skills, with dual monitor use.
Strong Excel & Word (average to above average proficiency required including sumifs, vlookups and pivot tables.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Proven Data Entry Experience with attention to detail and minimal errors
