Import/Export Officer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Import/Export Officer with a deep understanding of Philippine customs regulations, including procedures with the Bureau of Customs (BOC), PEZA, and other relevant agencies. The successful candidate will handle all logistics and documentation required for import and export operations, ensuring compliance with national and local trade laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all import and export activities, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipment coordination
• Ensure compliance with Philippine customs laws, PEZA, and Phividec Industrial Estate regulations
• Coordinate with suppliers, brokers, logistics providers, and government agencies
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, taxes, duties, and other required documents
• Prepare and submit import/export declarations and permits
• Monitor shipment schedules and proactively resolve any delays or issues
• Stay updated on changes in trade laws, tariffs, and government regulations affecting import/export processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in import/export or logistics in the Philippines
• Strong knowledge of BOC procedures, PEZA regulations, and Phividec Industrial Estate requirements
• Familiarity with international shipping terms (Incoterms), customs valuation, and tariff classification
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry is a plus
