The Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) was created through Executive Order No. 272 (E.O.272), which directs the transfer of the Community Mortgage Program (CMP), Abot Kaya Pabahay Fund (AKPF) Program, and other social housing powers and functions of the National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation to the SHFC. Under E.O. 272, the SHFC shall be the lead government agency to undertake social housing programs that will cater to the formal and informal sectors in the low-income bracket and shall take charge of developing and administering social housing program schemes, particularly the CMP and the AKPF Program (amortization support program and development financing program).

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: To be officially employed under DBP Service Corporation (DBPSC), but shall be assigned and deployed to Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) as an agency-hired employee.

WORK SCHEDULE: Mondays to Fridays (8 AM - 5 PM)

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

With background in the current social media landscape and platforms
Has a strong understanding of the fundamentals of communications and marketing, public relations, and familiarity in the present social and governance landscape;
Strong writing and storytelling skills to craft compelling social media copy, news articles, and visual guides;
Extensive knowledge of major platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and X(formerly Twitter), including their functionalities;
Ability to develop innovative and appropriate social media strategies;
Capacity to handle key social media metrics and utilization of analytical tools to measure performance, identify trends, and track engagement;
Flexible and creative and has capability to utilize basic editing tools;

SCOPE OF WORK:

1. Primarily handles, oversees, and enhances public engagement through multimedia content on official SHFC social media channels, including Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok;
2. Creates compelling content and related visual guides, such as news/social media copies, stories, etc., to effectively communicate SHFC's messages during corporate events and projects, ensuring alignment with communication objectives;
3. Generates additional innovative and original content to keep SHFC's social media presence fresh and engaging;
4. Provides technical assistance to the Video/Graphics team for media documentation supporting events production, public relations campaigns, and mobilizations;
5. Assists in the Brand Development campaign to maintain and enhance SHFC's overall media presence;
6. In production work, guides the graphics and design team in adhering to SHFC's Visual Identity Guide to maintain brand consistency;
7. Crafts and implements innovative social media strategies that reflect SHFC's core values and communication goals, fostering engagement with the public and partners;
8. Directs and supervises production of the Video/Graphics team, providing artistic guidance to ensure consistent corporate messaging (through various uploaded contents) across all media;
9. Leverages social media to build beneficial connections that support and advance SHFC's organizational objectives;
10. Conducts social listening to identify current issues and challenges that may present risks or opportunities for SHFC;
11. Prepares periodic write-ups and reports for the purpose of sharing evaluation and to identify points of improvement for social media visibility and engagement, based on key social media metrics;
12. Completes all assigned administrative tasks in support of the Strategic Communications Department's internal and inter-departmental functions;
13. Collaborates with the Information and Public Assistance Desk, the CSM team, and all other production teams within the Department to enhance communications output;
14. Does complete staff work for all administrative processes and undertakings; and
15. Performs other related functions that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
