Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience and a strong background in U.S. GAAP. This role will focus on bank reconciliation, preparation of financial statements, and monthly accounting tasks while collaborating closely with the U.S. management team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical skills and a commitment to financial accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
Proven experience in bank reconciliation and preparation of financial statements.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with the management team.
Preferred Qualifications:

CPA, QuickBooks Advisors certification or progress towards certification.
Experience in financial reporting and monthly accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of cash balances and resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Conduct monthly accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and necessary adjustments.
Collaborate with the U.S. management team to analyze financial performance and provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies, identifying areas for improvement.
Support the management team during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial data.
Maintain organized financial records and documentation for all accounting transactions.
Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and recommend enhancements to accounting processes.
