Job Description
1. Maintenance and Repairs:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, or IT systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in different types of equipment or machinery.
Replace or repair faulty components to ensure systems are operational.
2. Installation:
Install new equipment, machinery, or systems across various technical fields.
Set up and test equipment to ensure it’s working correctly.
3. Inspection and Testing:
Inspect equipment regularly to ensure safety and functionality.
Run diagnostic tests and analyze results to identify potential issues.
4. Problem-Solving:
Quickly respond to system malfunctions and find solutions.
Use technical knowledge to resolve problems that span multiple areas (e.g., electrical, mechanical, IT).
5. Documentation:
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
Maintain logs to track issues and resolutions for future reference.
6. Safety Compliance:
Follow safety procedures and guidelines when working with equipment or machinery.
Ensure that all work complies with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
-High School Diploma or equivalent.
-Technical Degree or Certification (e.g., in electrical, mechanical, or IT fields)
-Certificate: Optional but beneficial
Industry-specific certifications like City & Guilds (for electrical), CompTIA A+ (for IT), or NVQ in engineering.
