Facade Designer

1.Assist the Team Leader and the team in providing technical support in the deliberation of project proposals and help to coordinate work to the department head.
2.Participates and assists the Team Leader with Business Development Department and Project Management Department in meetings with Architect, Consultant, Project Managers and Building Structural Engineers in communicating the engineering and design considerations of façade systems conform to all relevant building and structural codes, code of practices, health and safety, and all other project requirements.
3.Report daily the status of assigned work to the Team Leader.
4.Initiate review the work output prior to submission, and ensure that it is within tolerance for correctness.
5.Involves in providing solution and addressing the internal and external comments, and document thru the Project Design Monitoring.
6.Apply the System Verification Checklist and ensure that the design, drawings, and all other deliverables meet the standard requirements, specifications, and within scope of works.
7.Coordinate with the Façade Structural Engineer the validation of the design drawings and document in the System Validation Checklist. Provide other means of design validation.
8.As the project requires, assists the Team Leader in performing site verifications, site inspections and/or attend site meetings to ensure that site issues related to façade system are resolved.
9.Help in guiding the Façade Engineer/Designer 1.
10.Contributes in façade research and development and technological innovation.
11.Performs any reasonable duties within the overall function that commensurate with the grading and level of responsibility of the job assigned by department head.
