Job Description
Create 2D and/or 3D technical drawings, plans, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD.
Interpret design sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions into accurate drawings.
Revise drawings based on feedback or design changes, ensuring all updates are properly documented.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure drawings meet project requirements and standards.
Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and company guidelines.
Assist in preparing drawings for permits, construction, fabrication, and presentations.
Coordinate with different departments to resolve drawing-related issues.
Qualifications:
Vocational diploma, associate degree, or bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of other CAD tools like Revit, SketchUp, or SolidWorks is a plus.
At least 1–2 years of experience in CAD drafting.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
