Job Description
Develop architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details using AutoCAD or other CAD software.
Translate conceptual sketches and specifications into technical drawings for permit, bidding, and construction purposes.
Coordinate with architectural and engineering teams to ensure accuracy and consistency across all drawings.
Revise drawings based on feedback from architects, clients, or regulatory agencies.
Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with local building codes and industry best practices.
Organize and manage CAD files, drawing sets, and digital project documentation.
Assist in preparing presentation materials, 3D models, and renderings as needed.
Ensure timely delivery of drawings according to project timelines and milestones.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other architectural software is an advantage.
At least 2 years of experience in CAD drafting within an architectural or construction firm.
Strong understanding of architectural design, construction methods, and building codes.
Excellent attention to detail, technical skills, and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
