Plating Maintenance Technician

Perform maintenance and repairs on plating equipment, including tanks, rectifiers, heaters, chillers, exhaust/ventilation systems, pumps, and filtration units.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems associated with plating operations.
Inspect plating systems regularly to identify wear, leaks, corrosion, or malfunctioning components.
Assist with installation, calibration, and testing of new plating equipment.
Support the Production and Process team by ensuring pumps and dosing systems are functioning correctly.
Collaborate with production and environmental teams to ensure uptime and regulatory compliance.
Maintain and perform accurate records of maintenance activities and service reports.
Follow and help develop preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for plating and supporting systems.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests and assist in root cause analysis of recurring issues.
Qualifications:

College/Technical school graduate; technical diploma or certification preferred.
Minimum 2–4 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment; plating or chemical process experience strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of plating equipment (electro-plating) and facility utilities (compressed air, water treatment, etc.).
Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting (120V–480V), instrumentation, and control systems.
Basic understanding of chemical handling and safety data sheets (SDS).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Capable of lifting up to 25 kg and wearing PPE.
