Job Description
Develop the organization’s compliance program to ensure all internal practices adhere to applicable federal, state, and local laws
Prepare and deliver accurate and timely annual tax returns and statutory financial statements on behalf of the company
Collaborate with taxation advisors to make sure all direct, indirect, and personal taxes are calculated and submitted appropriately
Inspect legal means of reducing tax liability and analyze income tax deductions and sourcing of income to multiple state and local jurisdictions
Maintain the company’s federal tax position by collecting, preparing, and delivering relevant corporate documentation to tax auditors
Participate in the creation and implementation of the organization’s tax strategy and guidelines.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Tax Compliance
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Has a background in PEZA Compliance is an advantage
Experience with preparing and submitting tax statements, tax returns, and the corresponding financial statements
Familiarity with federal and state tax policies and regulations
Excellent organization and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
CA, CPA, and similar certifications are considered a plus
