Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Support Team Data Analysis: Analyze performance data across support functions to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and ensure operational efficiency. Prepare detailed reports on key metrics relevant to Accounting, Treasury, HR, and IT.
Balanced Scorecard & KPI Monitoring: Own the balanced scorecard for support teams by gathering, analyzing, and monitoring KPI data to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Assist in regular reviews of departmental KPIs, providing insights to the Business Development Supervisor and Corporate Planning Manager. Propose enhancements to scorecard metrics based on operational feedback.
Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Collaborate with the Corporate Planning Manager to support strategic initiatives and operational planning processes. Use historical data to develop forecasts for resource allocation, budgeting, and operational effectiveness.
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in support team processes and recommend automation or optimization strategies. Work with IT and departmental teams to implement systems that enhance data tracking and reporting.
Forecasting & Reporting: Provide regular and ad hoc reports on support team performance, including budget adherence, staffing efficiency, and project timelines. Present actionable insights to management to drive data-informed decision-making.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Conduct research to identify trends and best practices within support functions. Analyze competitor strategies to provide insights that enhance operational practices.
Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure that support activities comply with company policies and regulatory standards. Assist in internal audits by providing relevant data and insights.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between support teams and Corporate Planning, ensuring data alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with various departments to facilitate communication and data flow.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably within support functions in the financial services or lending industry.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and HR/Finance systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive clear insights from complex data.
Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex data insights to various stakeholders.
