Job Description

Qualifications:

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field
With 4-5 years of experience as a supply chain manager
Preferably with experience in manufacturing industry's supply chain processes
Excellent knowledge in supply chain processes
Working experience of relevant software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Strong communication skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Attention to detail
Creative problem-solving
A strategic and analytical mind

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Design and execute supply chain strategies and ensure all departments, business units and the distribution channels critical to the supply chain are aligned to deliver company objectives.
2. Leads sales and operations planning (S&OP) to ensure Sales, Marketing, Production, agreed and approved “one number”.
3. Develop inventory policy that is supportive of business objectives to deliver high customer service and optimum inventory levels are maintained.
4. Ensure timely translation of the forecast into Purchase Order or Production Order.
5. Collaborates with Marketing and Sales Team to keep abreast with upcoming marketing or sales initiatives, plans or projects and to identify and solve possible hindrances to ensure success.
6. Provides strategic leadership and guidance in the development of:
· Global production planning policies.
· Monthly production schedule with attendant materials requirements planning based on the annual
sales forecast.
· System to support the production planning process with accurate, timely information.
· Accountability for the inventory strategy and plan.
· Capacity analysis and capacity plans.

7. Leads and guide the purchasing team on items needs for ordering and timing of arrival without compromising the volume leverage and storage capacity.
8. Establish the best Logistic Network to assure the optimum level of service as well as resources to customers according to customer service objectives.
9. Coordinate closely with Corporate Logistics to ensure timely, accurate and undamaged delivery of customer orders.
10. Provide training and development programs to the Supply Chain staff in accordance with their competency requirements.
11. Prepare risk management assessment and ensure that appropriate mitigating and contingency plans are in place.
12. Reports must submit regular report to Operations Manager:
- Inventory Status /Inventory Levels and Aging
- Forecast Accuracy
- Customer Service Level
- Orders Delivered on Time and in Full (OTIF)
- Cost to Serve
