Job Description
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Analyst with significant focus on Accounting and Finance business practices and processes.
3. Significant experience in identifying and implementing process improvements and automation initiatives within Finance and Accounting functions.
4. Experience working with and understanding accounting software, ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Financials ERP), and financial reporting tools.
5. Familiarity with process mapping and business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
6. Experience with data analysis and reporting.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
9. Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
10. Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
11. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
12. Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., RPA platforms) is a plus.
13. Familiarity with AI technologies (e.g., Generative AI, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing) is a plus.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process Analysis & Opportunity Identification
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing Accounting and Finance business processes (e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial reporting).
• Identify pain points, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for potential improvement, automation, or process re-engineering.
• Utilize various techniques such as process mapping, data analysis, and stakeholder interviews to understand current state and identify improvement opportunities.
Solution Development & Recommendation
• Evaluate and recommend potential automation and process redesign strategies to address identified opportunities.
• Develop clear and concise business cases, outlining the potential benefits, costs, and risks associated with proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical team to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
