Job Description
- Ensure application and database servers are available and working.
- Monitor database performance and report any capacity issues.
- Track performance on platforms like Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
- Test proposed changes and report any issues found.
- Fix basic issues like connectivity and login problems.
- Work with higher-ups on complex issues and external providers when needed.
- Provide data from production servers for developer testing.
- Monitor and ensure scheduled jobs run correctly.
- Fix and rerun failed jobs.
- Perform tasks assigned by the team lead.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a 4-year IT-related course
- Strong communication skills
- Service-oriented attitude
- PC and server troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of SQL Server (preferred)
- Knowledge of Oracle Server (preferred)
- Knowledge of Windows and UNIX systems (preferred)
- Experience in troubleshooting PC/servers (advantageous)
- Experience in software development (advantageous)
