Job Description
Safety Policy and Procedures Implementation
● Perform site inspections and recommend work stoppage to Project Manager if necessary.
● Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with VSI’s Safety Policies and Procedures.
● Record data, prepare Safety Inspection Reports and submit to Safety Supervisor.
● Recommend corrective actions, process improvements and preventive measures
● Design/create/request safety reminders, checklists, diagrams and other communication materials to effectively instill safety and health consciousness among all employees, workers and visitors.
Qualifications:
Educational Attainment: High school graduate or College Graduate-Any of the following Certification: DOLE Accredited Safety Practitioner - Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) and Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH); Certified Basic First Aid and Basic Life Support
Work Experience/Qualifications: 1 years work experience as a Safety Marshall in the construction industry or other highly hazardous work environment | 3 years work experience as a Safety Marshall in the construction industry or other highly hazardous work environment
