Job Description
- Licensed Civil Engineer/Architect with a valid professional certification.
- 10+yrs experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and contract administration.
- Strong knowledge of construction cost management, procurement, and contract law.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (CostX, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, AutoCAD).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working on large-scale projects, including infrastructure, commercial, or residential developments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Develop and manage budgets with cost control measures.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
- Monitor expenditures and provide financial reports.
- Negotiate contracts for cost efficiency.
- Evaluate subcontractor bids for cost-effectiveness.
- Track and manage costs to prevent overruns.
