Job Description

Position: Quantity Surveyor Role Overview

Position: Quantity Surveyor

Work location: Pasig Work Schedule: 8 am-5 pm

Salary range: 30,000-35,000

Responsibilities

● Project Tracking: Track cost incurred per project together with accounting including time and material cost. Project Management skills need to be developed to eventually have the skills to manage projects.

● Collaborate and communicate effectively with the Management and other project contributors to deliver assistance and technical support.

● Ability to supervise, monitor, and guide other team members to ensure productivity, efficiency, deliverables and outputs.

● Coordinate effectively about the project schedule and project progress, coordinating project activities with the Construction & Design Team to secure accurate progress billing.

● Controls project cost by suggesting for approval the costs, assess subcontractor contracts.

● Expected to attend all new project meetings, project PPE for accurate costing and possible impromptu costing.

● Ability to meet deadlines of each project for costing. 

Qualifications

● Graduate of B.S. Civil Engineering (preferably licensed)

● Licensed Civil Engineer is a must

● At least 3-5 years of experience in the construction company as Quantity Surveyor

● Knowledgeable in using Planswift, Autocad, Sketchup. Revit is a plus point.

 

Skills

● Exposed in all construction facets (finishes, precast, formwork, rebar, concreting and fabrication)

● Knowledgeable in understanding and estimating MEPFS plans

● Can understand the project and work order plan budget and manpower assignment

● Knows to develop weekly & daily plan

● Strong leadership & motivational skills

● Strong analytical, modeling & reporting skills

● Excellent verbal & written communications skills
