Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Coordination:
• Work closely with the project manager to plan and organize construction activities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other relevant parties to ensure that all resources are available and meet project requirements.
2. Site Supervision:
• Supervise the construction process to ensure that the work is being carried out as per the designs, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Ensure that work is completed on time and within budget.
3. Quality Control:
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure construction standards and regulations are being followed.
• Address and resolve any issues or defects that arise during the construction process.
4. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
• Ensure that safety guidelines are being strictly followed on-site.
• Promote a safe working environment by identifying and mitigating potential risks or hazards.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
5. Technical Support and Problem Solving:
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to construction challenges that may arise on-site.
• Interpret and analyze engineering drawings and designs for effective implementation.
6. Material Management:
• Monitor and manage the supply and usage of materials on-site to ensure they align with project schedules and budgets.
• Work with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
7. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and changes to the original plans.
• Provide regular updates to senior engineers, project managers, or clients regarding the progress of construction.
8. Liaison with Stakeholders:
• Act as a point of contact between the client, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Address any concerns or queries from clients, ensuring that they are resolved promptly.
9. Cost Management:
• Monitor construction costs and work to ensure the project stays within budget.
• Assist in cost estimation, procurement, and maintaining financial records related to the construction.
