Job Description
Location: Silay City, Negros Occidental
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Salary Range: ₱70,000 – ₱80,000/month
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client in a respected educational institution based in Silay City. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing our financial processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting the institution's financial health. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Manage financial transactions including budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations.
- Monitor compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and institutional policies.
- Manage internal controls and assist with audits and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.
- Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff and support their professional development.
- Utilize accounting systems effectively for reporting, documentation, and process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Must have completed a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance Management or Accounting), Commerce, or other relevant fields
- At least 1 year in a leadership role in accounting or finance
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manage or Finance Manager, or similar position
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial management, and internal control procedures
- Proficiency in using accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Xero, or equivalent)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
- Must be willing to work onsite in Silay City, Negros Occidental
