Data Warehouse Architect

Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Data Warehouse Architect to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong expertise in Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL). You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the company’s data architecture, supporting both internal teams and client needs in a fast-paced, global environment.

As a Data Warehouse Architect, you'll lead the development of reliable data platforms, optimize database performance, and help ensure the security and availability of critical data systems. Key Responsibilities:
Design and Develop Data Platforms: Build scalable and reliable data warehouses using Azure Synapse and create ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory to support business needs.
Optimize Performance: Monitor and tune databases for speed and efficiency through indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
Manage Data Security and Recovery: Implement robust security measures and ensure regular backups and disaster recovery processes are in place.
Troubleshoot and Maintain Systems: Quickly resolve database issues and ensure smooth day-to-day operations with minimal downtime.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
Administer Cloud Environments: Support the health, performance, and security of cloud-based data platforms, particularly in Azure.
Document and Train: Create clear documentation and provide training to ensure teams understand and utilize data systems effectively.
Drive Innovation: Continuously explore new tools and methods to improve data architecture, processes, and overall system performance.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role in a cloud-based environment.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL design, and data governance best practices.
Experience in database performance tuning and cloud platform administration (Azure preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
