Job Description
Responsibilities
Design: Create detailed drawings and plans for buildings and their surrounding spaces
Construction: Oversee construction from start to finish, including on-site supervision
Project management: Manage budgets, timelines, and resources
Compliance: Ensure designs meet building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements
Coordination: Work with engineers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders
Problem solving: Use problem-solving skills to address issues and conflicts that arise during construction
Skills and qualifications Strong technical and design skills, Ability to visualize space, Understanding of construction technologies, Communication and project management abilities, and Knowledge of design software. Education Architects typically have a degree in architecture
