Job Description

AS TO ELIGIBILITIES, GACDC is ISO certified by International Standards Certifications Philippines, Inc. and was granted Triple A LICENSE by the PHIL. CONTRACTORS ACCREDITATION BOARD IN 1992.
We are in need of a Heavy equipment Electrician who is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems on heavy machinery like excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and other construction equipment, ensuring their proper functionality and electrical safety on construction sites. This includes troubleshooting electrical issues, replacing components, and performing routine inspections.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Regularly inspect and service electrical components on heavy equipment, including motors, generators, control panels, wiring harnesses, and relays.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools, repair or replace faulty components like circuit boards, switches, and sensors.
• Install new electrical wiring, components, and systems on heavy equipment according to electrical schematics and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to identify potential electrical problems before they cause equipment breakdowns.
• Replace worn or damaged electrical components like batteries, fuses, and relays.
• May assist with diagnosing electrical issues related to hydraulic systems on heavy machinery.
• Test electrical systems and components using specialized tools to ensure proper functionality and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and component replacements.
Required skills and qualifications:
* Strong understanding of electrical principles, including AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and wiring diagrams.
* Basic understanding of mechanical systems and how they interact with electrical components on heavy equipment.
