Job Description
The Performance and HR Director is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the Human Resources function, with a
particular focus on performance management, talent development, and organizational culture. This role is critical in driving the
company’s strategic goals by ensuring that employees are effectively managed, motivated, and aligned with the organization’s
mission and objectives. The Performance and HR Director will oversee HR policies, employee relations, talent acquisition, training
and development, and performance management systems to foster a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Performance Management:
o Design, implement, and manage the company’s performance management system.
o Develop and communicate performance expectations and standards across the organization.
o Facilitate regular performance reviews, appraisals, and feedback sessions.
o Provide guidance and support to managers in handling performance-related issues.
o Implement strategies to address underperformance and reward high performers.
2. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
o Leading the recruitment process to ensure the hiring of top talent that aligns with the company’s culture and goals.
o Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain diverse and high-caliber candidates.
o Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and job boards to optimize sourcing channels.
o Ensure that the recruitment process is fair, transparent, and in compliance with legal requirements.
3. Talent Development & Training:
o Identify training and development needs across the organization and create programs to address these needs.
o Implement employee development initiatives, including leadership training, career development plans, and
succession planning.
o Manage onboarding processes to ensure new employees are effectively integrated into the company.
o Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and employment regulations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in HR software and tools, including performance management systems.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
