Job Description
SCHEDULE: Varying number of hours a week, depending on the number of projects
START DATE: approximately end of April
ROLE OVERVIEW
The client, operating in the digital agency industry, is looking for a developer to update, maintain, and enhance websites, ensure responsive builds, and perform regular maintenance tasks. A strong understanding of design fundamentals is essential, as the role requires attention to user experience and responsive design.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Update and maintain existing websites
Enhance website speed and performance
Build responsive designs from Adobe XD files
Conduct bug testing and resolve issues
Perform regular backups and ongoing site maintenance
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
WordPress development – strong experience across custom builds and theme customisation
E-commerce experience – including WooCommerce and Shopify builds
UX knowledge – attention to detail with user journeys and responsive design
Able to work from Adobe XD files – full development based on design handovers
Communicates well in English – you’ll occasionally join meetings with Aussie clients
Shopify experience is a big plus
