Investment Project Manager

Main Role:

Project Budget and Schedule:
Create and present project business cases to company
Oversee and manage project budget, implementation and schedules.

Progress Reporting:
Prepare monthly progress reports based on Project Management Standards.
Keep steering groups and project/business sponsors informed about key issues and risks.

Risk Management:
Develop a risk management strategy for assigned projects.
Use processes and tools to identify, monitor, and manage project risks.

Project and Financial Controls:
Manage external partners (contractors, suppliers, engineering offices) and resolve claims as per company policy.
Implement strict controls for projects, covering change management, cost control, forecasting, progress measurement, and invoice review/payment.

Commissioning and Handover:
Ensure compliance with Project Management Standards for commissioning, validation, and handover.
Ensure a timely and complete handover to the final user.

Basic Qualifications:
• Engineering degree or relevant experience in the engineering field.
• Proficient understanding of English.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in CAPEX project management, depending on project complexity.
• Ability to lead small and medium-sized CAPEX projects.
• Background in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineer.
• Strong influence skills both internally and externally.
• The role demands sound judgment and proficiency in complex decision-making.
