Job Description
-Develop and implement credit and collection policies to minimize financial risks.
-Assess and approve credit applications based on financial analysis and risk assessment.
-Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
-Establish and maintain relationships with clients to facilitate smooth payment processes.
-Negotiate payment terms and collection agreements with customers.
-Work closely with the sales and finance teams to align credit policies with business goals.
-Identify and resolve disputes or overdue accounts through effective communication and follow-ups.
-Prepare reports on aging accounts, bad debts, and collection performance.
-Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company credit policies.
-Lead and mentor the credit and collection team to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Credit and Collection Manager or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of credit analysis, financial risk assessment, and collection strategies.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting and financial software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle).
