Job Description

Job Overview:
As a Copywriter at Agava, you will be responsible for producing clear, engaging, and persuasive content for a variety of marketing materials, including website copy, blog posts, case studies, email campaigns, social media content, and more. You will collaborate closely with our marketing, design, and sales teams to ensure that all copy aligns with our brand voice and business objectives, driving results and enhancing client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation: Write and edit high-quality copy for a variety of marketing materials, including but not limited to websites, landing pages, blog posts, email newsletters, social media posts, ads, and client case studies.

Brand Voice & Messaging: Ensure that all content reflects the company's tone, voice, and messaging guidelines while effectively communicating the value proposition of our business services.

SEO & Content Optimization: Create SEO-optimized copy that drives organic traffic, improving search engine rankings and increasing lead generation. Stay updated on SEO best practices and incorporate them into your writing.

Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop content strategies, concepts, and campaigns that align with business goals.

Client-Focused Content: Write targeted copy tailored to specific business service clients and industries, ensuring each piece speaks directly to their needs and challenges.

Editing & Proofreading: Review and edit your own work and the work of others to ensure accuracy, clarity, and quality before final delivery.

Performance Tracking: Collaborate with the marketing team to monitor and analyze the performance of content, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize results.

Qualifications:

Experience: 2+ years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in the business services, marketing, or B2B industries.

Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.

SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO principles and experience writing content that drives organic traffic.

Adaptability: Ability to write in various tones and styles depending on the target audience and platform.

Creativity: Strong creative thinking skills and the ability to develop innovative and engaging content ideas.

Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and sales teams.

Time Management: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ASANA, GoHighLevel, and other content management tools. Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

A degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.

Knowledge of marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).

Experience with creating content for different types of business services, such as consulting, digital marketing, or financial services.
