Job Description
• Bachelor's degree holder in IT or Engineering (Computer/ Electronics and Communications/
• Must have at least 3 years of related work experience in Systems Integration.
• Must be knowledgeable in Unix or Linux scripting
• Must be knowledgeable in scripting language (ex: python, bash)
• Must have basic knowledge in SNMP, DNS, DHCP, and/or SMTP
• Must have knowledge and experience in Network design
• Must have knowledge and experience in configuring switches and routers
• Knowledge in Firewalls and Load Balancer is an advantage
• Knowledgeable in the latest virtualization and networking technology
• Knowledge of either Cisco and/or Juniper devices
• Knowledge of Fortnet or similar FW is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Cloud Computing platforms (ex: AWS or Azure) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Container Orchestration (ex: Kubernetes) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Automation Tool (ex: Ansible) is an advantage.
Preference:
• Cisco Certification (ex: CCNA, CCNP, DevNet ) or similar
• Juniper Certification (ex: JNCIA) or similar
• AWS or Azure Certification
Job Description:
1. Install and configure routers or switches.
2. Install and configure firewalls and/or load balancers.
3. Install and configure applications in UNIX or Linux environment.
4. Install and configure third party middleware software, if necessary
5. Perform basic, integration, alarm, and relevant testing to ensure compliance of the system to client requirements.
6. Perform research and investigation on related systems/ products.
7. Create test specifications, when needed.
8. Create operations manual, when needed
9. Review the plans and design to identify weak spots and complexities that can impact quality and reliability of a project.
10. Prepare timely and comprehensive reports about required modifications, deficiencies, and new procedures.
11. Participate in understanding client's requirements.
12. Troubleshoot issues related to external interface of the client and resolve problems of the system.
13. Assist clients in understanding new services as well as on their Operations and Management (O&M) functions.
14. Travel on site for Pre-Sales activities and/or project implementation, when needed.
