Job Summary:
The Photographer is responsible for capturing high-quality images of jewelry products for marketing, e-commerce, and promotional purposes. This role requires expertise in product photography, lighting techniques, and photo editing to enhance the visual appeal of jewelry pieces. A strong portfolio showcasing previous work is required for consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
Photography & Visual Content Creation:
• Conduct professional jewelry photoshoots, ensuring high-quality images that highlight the details and craftsmanship of each piece.
• Use appropriate lighting, backgrounds, and angles to enhance the visual appeal of products.
• Capture images for e-commerce listings, social media, print materials, and promotional campaigns.
• Work closely with the marketing and design teams to align photography with branding guidelines.
Editing & Post-Production:
• Edit and retouch images using software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Ensure color accuracy and consistency across all product images.
• Remove imperfections, enhance clarity, and optimize images for various digital and print platforms.
Studio & Equipment Management:
• Set up and maintain photography equipment, including cameras, lighting, and backdrops.
• Keep the photography workspace organized and ensure proper care of all equipment.
• Stay updated on the latest photography techniques and trends to improve image quality.
Collaboration & Creative Direction:
• Work with designers, marketers, and product teams to plan and execute creative shoots.
• Assist in developing new visual concepts for jewelry campaigns and branding.
• Suggest improvements in photography style and composition based on market trends.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in product photography, preferably in the jewelry or fashion industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in jewelry or similar product photography (required).
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other photo editing tools.
• Knowledge of professional photography equipment, lighting, and composition techniques.
• Attention to detail and ability to capture fine textures and intricate designs.
• Strong creative vision and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Additional Requirements:
• Candidates must submit a photography portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
• Experience in videography or basic graphic design is a plus.
