Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Claims & Underwriting Coordinator to manage and streamline our claims and underwriting processes. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, customer service expertise, and a strong understanding of non-life insurance principles.

Responsibilities:

Claims Management:
Process and manage new claims, verifying policy coverage and ensuring timely resolution.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims activities.
Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, and insurance carriers.
Assist clients with claim inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
Prepare and submit detailed claim reports.
Underwriting Support:
Assist in the preparation and processing of new and renewal policy applications.
Gather and analyze underwriting information, including risk assessments and loss histories.
Evaluate applications for completeness and accuracy.
Input policy data into agency management systems.
Assist in the preparation of underwriting submissions to carriers.
Assist in risk assessments.
Maintain knowledge of underwriting guidelines.
Assist with administrative task.
Client Interaction:
Act as a primary point of contact for clients regarding claims and policy inquiries.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain organized files and records.
Generate reports and track relevant metrics.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in claims processing or underwriting within the non-life insurance industry is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Proficiency in agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Salary:
₱15,000.00 Monthly
