Job Description

Responsibilities:
-Participate in customer, internal/external departmental, process, and project planning meetings as required.
-Manage and lead a team of technical engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful project delivery.
-Create or assess technical designs and imply best practices for the implementation of Datacenter Operations.
-Align the solutions of the Pre-sales team with the current infrastructure of DataOne.
-Contribute to the execution of improvement plans to achieve increased customer satisfaction and business continuity.
-Take the lead in the creation of methods of procedure (MOP) to ensure accuracy and integrity of the proposed activity, including knowledge transfer and project documentation.
-Identify technological gaps and recommend relevant actions.
-Review and assess project requirements and technical designs, and work closely with the team to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
-Act as a technical expert and provide guidance on project related-issues, technical methodologies, and best practices.
-Collaborate with the Datacenter Operations team to identify and resolve technical issues and recommend improvements to processes, tools, and methodologies.
-Collaborate with the Head of Datacenter Operations and Service Engineering to develop and execute improvement plans and strategies.
-Collaborate with partners, distributors, and principals’ technical teams to create a strong relationship bond to improve productivity and partnership purpose.
-Provide documentation, processes, and translation of technical methodology for both technical and non-technical audiences to have a common understanding and clarify of the task.

Job Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree n Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related courses.
-At least 5 years of experience in a technical operations role preferably in a Datacenter environment.
-Strong technical background in network, system administration, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
-Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
-Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and support department colleagues.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
-Advanced knowledge and experience in creating IT architecture covering VMware, servers, storage, network, firewall, backup, and cyber security solutions.
-ITIL Certified.
-Certified in one or more of the following: VMWARE (VCP), Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Veeam Certification, pr Fortinet NSE Certifications.
-Ability to work well with others to accomplish common goals.
-Good communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
