Job Description

Job Title: General Accountant
Job Rank: Senior Accounting Assistant

Location: Head Office – Makati
Employment Type: 6-month service agreement (with potential for regularization)
Salary Range: ₱20,000 or above

Job Objective:
To strengthen the financial team by ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimizing financial processes, and supporting the company’s growth and stability.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
Daily Tasks:
Perform bank reconciliations and other reconciling tasks.

Maintain general ledgers and ensure accuracy of daily financial transactions.

Identify and resolve discrepancies in ledgers and accounts.

Process recurring expense payments (rental, utilities, communication).

Reconcile SUNDRY accounts and employee advances.

Weekly/Bi-Weekly Tasks:
Prepare and process petty cash replenishment.

Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Tasks:
Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports.

Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.

Support budgeting preparation and monitor spending compliance.

Post monthly salary deductions for employee advances and reconcile with HR records.

Prepare quarterly lapsing schedules for property and equipment.

Assist in compliance with statutory requirements (BIR, SEC, IATA, etc.).

Support year-end financial audits and BIR audits.

Other Duties:
Perform additional tasks as assigned by superiors.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Relevant work experience in accounting or finance.

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Team player with initiative, adaptability, and a desire to learn.

Potential for growth into higher positions.
