Job Description
The Data Analyst (DA) is tasked to oversee and ensure that all managed solar PV systems are operating at-optimal level and are producing at or above expectations. The Data Analyst’s main focus is to monitor all site on a daily basis and to ensure that any works that the department has to address are being handled.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
● Tasked to gather, process, and analyze data from various solar PV systems to ensure optimal
performance, predict maintenance needs, and support data-driven decision-making.
● Will work closely with management, engineers, and electricians to optimize system
efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve overall system reliability.
● Will be generating work orders to be delegated to the engineers handling the troubleshooting and rectification on site.
● Relay and communicate any irregularities to the team and derive action plans to address the issues, track response time, system availability/uptime, fault recurrence rates, energy production efficiency.
● Assess weather conditions and help find optimal maintenance schedules.
● Preparation of Client reports and Regulatory reports.
Monitoring and Data Analysis
● Daily review of all solar plant’s performance and minimize fault recurrence.
● Track energy production of the sites and implement optimization strategies to improve plant efficiency.
● Identify trends and predict early signs of faults and ensure prompt resolution.
● Keep the O&M weekly report updated with any issues, agreed upon action plans, and action plan results.
Operations Technical Support
● Assist in checking the accuracy of the online monitoring platform information against the As-built plans.
● Assist the quality assurance team for checking the sites under responsibility.
● Other technical support (as needed)
● Assist in the implementation of a CMMS solution, and use the CMMS solution thereafter
● Report findings to Management
● Ensuring data security, integrity, and confidentiality
Education:
A bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering or a related field.
Other Skills:
● Has worked in a similar field and/or similar profession.
● Has a total of 1-3 years of experience with Solar PV data analysis.
● Strong knowledge of data analytics, including data cleaning, statistical analysis, and
visualization
● Proficient in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills.
● Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
● MATLAB and VB Programming skills are a plus
● Familiarity with SolarEdge, Meteocontrol, Proton or other monitoring tools is a plus

- ₱25,000.00 Monthly
