Position: Recruitment Assistant
Location: BGC, Taguig, Philippines
Industry: Retail (Air-conditioning, Refrigeration, and Car Aircon Parts and Supplies)
Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite
Job Summary:
The Recruitment Assistant will support the end-to-end recruitment cycle, from sourcing to onboarding, and assist the Recruitment team in fulfilling staffing requirements for the client's retail and e-commerce operations. This role involves conducting candidate searches, interviewing candidates, coordinating interviews, and handling various administrative recruitment tasks. The ideal candidate will be a people-oriented professional with experience in recruitment processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Recruitment Support:
- Assist in managing the entire recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, job offer discussions, and pre-onboarding processes.
Candidate Sourcing & Screening:
- Source candidates using a variety of recruitment methods such as job boards, social media, employee referrals, and direct sourcing. Screen applications and resumes to identify suitable candidates.
Interview Coordination & Conducting Interviews:
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Utilize different interviewing techniques to assess candidates' qualifications and cultural fit for the company.
Candidate Communication & Relationship Management:
- Maintain effective communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely feedback and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Job Offer & Pre-Onboarding Support:
- Assist in presenting job offers, discussing terms and conditions, and preparing candidates for the onboarding process. Ensure smooth transition from offer acceptance to pre-employment formalities.
Recruitment Administrative Tasks:
- Handle various administrative tasks such as updating candidate records, maintaining recruitment databases, and preparing recruitment reports for HR and management.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, update them on recruitment progress, and ensure recruitment efforts are aligned with departmental needs.
Maintain Recruitment Metrics:
- Track recruitment performance, providing insights and reports on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate pipelines, and offer acceptance rates.
Market Research:
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment to continuously improve sourcing and interviewing strategies.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, job offers, and pre-onboarding, preferably within the retail or similar industry.
- Familiarity with different recruitment tools, job boards, and sourcing techniques.
- Experience with various interviewing techniques (e.g., behavioral, situational, competency-based) and assessing candidate skills.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
Well-organized with the ability to multitask and manage recruitment timelines effectively.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate candidate records.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR software or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
