Job Description

Objective

Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our infrastructure
hosting services

Measure and optimize system and application performance, enable end-
to-end visibility, and innovating for continual improvement

Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a
holistic view of system health

Responsibilities

Configure and implement E2E monitoring solution for applications and
infrastructure

Configure and maintain log analytic tool for applications and infrastructure

Ability to receive a briefing from various stakeholders of varying technical
knowledge and develop mock-up views to build workable dashboards
following a defined methodology

Organize and deliver monitoring knowledge sharing with application and
infra teams

Identify automation opportunities and advise Cachemire automation
teams to implement those automations, e.g., monitoring agent setup,
monitoring target auto-discovery, etc.

Required skills and qualifications

3-5 years’ experience in IT operation and maintenance

Hands-on experience with Grafana, Zabbix, Azure Monitor and ELK Log
Management

Experienced with large scale monitoring system set up and maintenance

Good exposure to commonly used ITSM tools, PagerDuty and ServiceNOW

Basic understanding of public cloud knowledge, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS

Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and
areas for improvement

Good communication skills in English to align with Regional team and local
delivery partners.

Preferred skills and qualifications

Previous success in maintaining monitoring system

Automated configuration management (like Ansible, Azure Automation) is a plus
