Job Summary:
We are seeking a Workday Support Specialist to join our team, responsible for managing and supporting the Workday system, including business processes, integrations, and data management. This individual will work closely with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure the efficient functioning of Workday, enhance workflows, and ensure data integrity within the system.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Process Management: Set up, configure, and manage Workday business processes, including approval workflows, task assignments, and notifications. Ensure business processes are optimized for efficiency and align with organizational requirements.
Integration Management: Work with Workday integration tools such as Workday Studio and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) to develop, troubleshoot, and maintain integrations between Workday and other systems. Ensure data flows smoothly across integrated platforms.
Data Import/Export & Integrity: Manage and support data import and export processes, ensuring accurate and consistent data transfer between Workday and other internal or external systems. Monitor and enforce data integrity and quality controls within the system.
Workday Module Expertise: Provide support for and manage Workday's core modules, including HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Recruitment, Advanced Compensation, and Performance Management. Assist with system configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of each module.
User Support and Troubleshooting: Provide tier-1 and tier-2 support for system users, addressing issues related to Workday functionality, workflows, and business processes. Troubleshoot technical problems and provide timely resolutions.
System Testing and Updates: Assist with system upgrades and testing of new functionality within Workday. Ensure smooth rollouts of new features, bug fixes, and patches, and verify that they align with business needs.
Reporting and Analytics: Create, modify, and maintain custom Workday reports and dashboards. Provide actionable insights to business leaders, ensuring they can make informed decisions based on data from Workday.
Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain documentation for business processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps. Provide user training and support materials to ensure effective use of Workday across the organization.
Compliance and Security: Ensure that Workday processes comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies, especially regarding payroll, data privacy, and security.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years of experience in supporting and managing Workday, specifically in core modules such as HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Recruitment, Advanced Compensation, and Performance Management.
Business Process Management: Strong ability to set up, manage, and optimize business processes in Workday, including approvals, workflows, and task assignments.
Workday Integration Tools: Familiarity with Workday integration tools, including Workday Studio and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), for developing and maintaining integrations between Workday and other business systems.
Data Management Skills: Experience with data import/export processes in Workday, with a focus on managing data integrity, validation, and security.
Module Expertise: In-depth understanding of Workday’s core modules (HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Recruitment, Advanced Compensation, Performance Management) and the ability to configure and troubleshoot them.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Workday business processes, configurations, and integrations.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented, with a strong ability to follow processes, maintain system integrity, and ensure the accurate management of data.
