Job Overview:
We are hiring German-speaking Technical Support Representatives (TSRs) to assist customers with inquiries about various products and services. Support will be provided through multiple channels, including phone, chat, web forms, email, and social media. The role requires excellent customer service skills and proper documentation of all interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support:
Handle customer inquiries via inbound calls, web forms, emails, chats, and social media.
Provide clear, professional, and timely responses to customer concerns.
Assist with product- or service-related issues, troubleshooting problems, and resolving concerns.
Make outbound calls as required.
Basic Troubleshooting:
Conduct initial assessments of technical issues and perform basic troubleshooting.
Follow standard procedures to resolve common technical problems.
Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 support or supervisors when needed.
Information & Assistance:
Provide details about products, services, promotions, and company policies.
Assist customers with account setup, billing inquiries, and order processing.
Documentation & Data Management:
Accurately record customer interactions, complaints, feedback, and solutions in the system.
Customer Satisfaction Focus:
Strive to meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs) and customer expectations.
Aim for first-contact resolution to ensure a positive customer experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
Language Skills: Fluent in both German and English (spoken & written).
Technical Skills: Familiarity with Windows applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel) is a plus.
Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking, listening, and conflict resolution abilities.
Typing Speed: Minimum 40 words per minute, with multitasking ability (listening & typing).
Call Center Experience: At least 1 year in a call center handling professional phone support.
Technical Support Experience: Minimum 1 year in a technical product support role.
Sales Experience: Background in phone sales is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
Age Requirement: Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Education: High school diploma required; some college education is preferred.
Work Schedule: Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 operational setup, supporting US, APAC, and EMEA regions.
