Job Description
Job Title: JAPANESE CONSULTANT
The Japanese Consultant will provide strategic guidance and operational support to a retail store with a team primarily composed of sushi chefs and merchandisers. This role ensures that Japanese culinary standards and retail practices are upheld.
Job Description:
• Advise on operational and culinary standards for sushi preparation and
presentation.
• Provide training and mentorship to sushi chefs and merchandisers.
• Develop strategies to improve customer experience and product quality.
• Monitor store performance and recommend improvements.
• Ensure that store operations align with Japanese business and culinary standards.
• Act as a cultural and business liaison between the store management and
Japanese stakeholders.
• Conduct market research to identify customer preferences and trends.
Requirements and Skills:
• Native Japanese speaker.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail or food service management.
• Strong understanding of Japanese culinary and business practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
• Willing to be assigned in Makati or Taguig.
