Job Description

The Import Releasing Supervisor manages and supervises the importation and customs release processes, ensuring that goods are cleared efficiently and on time. This role oversees documentation, coordinates with brokers, and works closely with internal teams to ensure smooth import operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise the creation and processing of Purchase Requests (PR) and Good Receipt PO (GRPO) entries in SAP1.
- Monitor and track shipments, ensuring timely customs clearance and delivery to the warehouse.
- Coordinate with brokers on document verification, customs release, and delivery schedules.
- Oversee the review of import-related billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the Rate Matrix.
- Ensure the completion of importation documents and proper filing.
- Process Safe, Secure, and On Time (SSO) requests for payment to Finance for Final Assessment Notices (FAN).
- Close invoices and submit to Finance for landed cost and billing reference.
- Provide supervision and guidance to the Importation team to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
