Job Description
> Conduct site feasibility studies and provide the best suitable option for enhancing suitability;
> Develop design specifications and functional requirements for renewable energy systems and components;
> Use of Autocad, PVSysts and other similar software for designs and technical simulations;
> Perform energy yields assessments, shading analyses, and system performance simulations to optimize the design and sizing of solar PV arrays and other systems;
> Maintain design and proposal requirements, compliance to local codes and standards, design procedures, methods and process;
> Stay informed about local and international electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations pertaining to solar and wind energy systems;
> Develop simple or basic electrical design documents, PV design documents and Electrical Plans. This includes but not limited to the following engineering and design documents: AC power supply diagram, Bill of Materials, Block Diagram, Cabler routing Plan, Control Panel Layout, Equipment Location Plan, Fiber Optic Assembly and Accessories Installation Details, Fiber Optic Routing Plan, Job execution Plan, Loop Drawings, Network Topology, Project Scope of Work and Services, Project estimates and schedules, progress reports, Schematic diagram, System Architecture, and Wiring Diagram.
Job Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Masteral of EE is an advantage.
• At least 3-5 years of proven experience in electrical design with a focus on large-scale power plant projects (50MW+). Please note that Residential, commercial, or small-scale power projects will not be prioritized.
• Hands-on experience with design and operation of substation, transmission line, RE power plant projects (Solar, Wind, Hydro) or other electric power facilities (Meralco, NGCP, etc.).
• Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, SEE Electrical, Microsoft Office and other necessary software for design practice.
• Skilled in PEC, PGCP, PDCP, IEC, IEE, ISO, ANSI, etc. design codes or the design criterions for NGCP projects.
• Strong understanding of power generation systems, including solar, wind, and hydropower technologies.
• Competent to review, comment and revise design drawings, and reply to electrical technical questions.
