Job Overview
The Social and Content Marketing Manager holds expertise in content and social media and a deep knowledge and understanding of technology industries. This role will drive TrustNet’s content and social media strategies, develop B2B-focused campaigns, and manage engagement with key accounts across digital platforms. You will play a critical role in promoting our cybersecurity and compliance solutions, creating compelling social and/or web content, and leveraging social channels to target high-value accounts.
Job Duties
Social Media Strategy Development (B2B):
Create and execute a B2B social media strategy with the Marketing Director that aligns with the company’s objectives and resonates with the cybersecurity and technology industries.
Develop ABM-driven social media campaigns targeting high-value accounts, industry decision-makers, and influencers.
Tailor social content to different buyer personas relevant to cybersecurity and compliance solutions.
Content Creation and Management:
Work closely with the copywriting team to develop engaging, on-brand content that promotes cybersecurity and compliance solutions, including blog and social posts, graphics, infographics, videos, and thought leadership articles.
Collaborate with product marketing, paid media, and creative teams to ensure consistency in messaging across all social media platforms.
Create an overarching content strategy and manage the social media and content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent content posting across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
Leverage data insights to create content that resonates with B2B audiences and drives engagement, intent, and lead generation.
Paid Social Campaigns:
Collaborate with the paid media team in planning paid social campaigns targeting specific accounts, industries, or buyer personas to support ABM efforts.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track and analyze key social media and on-page content performance metrics, including engagement, reach, and conversions using analytics tools.
Provide detailed reports on social media and content campaign performance, offering insights into what’s working and opportunities for improvement.
Make data-driven recommendations for future campaigns and social media strategies.
Report results to the Marketing Director.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Partner with sales, product, and other marketing teams to align content and social media efforts with broader demand generation and account-based marketing strategies.
Brand and Reputation Management:
Collaborate with the PR team to ensure alignment on messaging and responses to security incidents or industry challenges.
Ensure all social media communications comply with the company’s brand standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. A background in technology, particularly in cybersecurity and compliance, is a plus.
3-5 years of experience in B2B social media marketing, preferably in the technology or cybersecurity industries.
Knowledge of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and experience developing personalized social media campaigns for key accounts.
Proven experience managing and growing social media platforms specifically LinkedIn for a B2B technology brand.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content tailored to specific buyer personas and industries.
Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics).
Familiarity with paid social media campaigns, audience targeting, and social ad platforms (LinkedIn Ads).
Knowledge of cybersecurity and the key challenges businesses face in compliance, security, and risk management is a plus.
Ability to analyze performance data and provide insights to optimize social media strategies and ABM efforts.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, meet deadlines, and collaborate across departments.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with cybersecurity and compliance standards.
Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot.
Knowledge of digital media principles and how social media fits into broader digital marketing strategies.
