Job Description
Office Location: WalterMart Head Office in North Edsa (Muñoz), Quezon City
Job Summary:
- Tasks include buying, negotiation, trading partner engagement with vendors, report analysis, product sourcing, and maintaining vendor relationships.
Key result areas: Sales and Margin; Buying Fundamentals.
Job Description:
• Buying & Forecasting.
• Responsible for preparation, analysis, and monitoring of vendor related matters & purchases.
• Assists Category Managers / AVP in executing merchandising plans, maintaining inventory levels, negotiations & merchandising.
• Sourcing of new merchandise and review existing items to ensure products remain competitive.
Qualifications:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Technology, or any 4-year course.
• At least 1 year and up of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills.
• Highly analytical on consumer buying patterns.
• Amenable to work for a compressed work-week schedule, Monday to Friday, on-site at WalterMart Head Office in North Edsa, Quezon City.
