Job Description

Job Opening: Accountant
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial
operations, ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards, and support
strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day bookkeeping,
financial reporting, tax filings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a
dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
1.Financial Management:

1. Maintain accurate general ledger entries, accounts
payable/receivable, and cash flow records.
2. Prepare monthly/annual financial statements (balance sheet, income
statement, cash flow statement).
3. Reconcile bank statements and intercompany accounts.
2. Tax Compliance:
1. File VAT, income tax, and other regulatory returns with the Bureau of
Internal Revenue (BIR).
2. Ensure compliance with PEZA tax incentives and Philippine tax laws.
3. Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
3.Reporting & Analysis:
1. Generate management reports (e.g., cost analysis, variance reports).
2. Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
3. Monitor and optimize working capital.
3.Process Improvement:
1. Implement internal controls to prevent errors and fraud.

4.Team Collaboration:
1. Liaise with HR for payroll processing and statutory contributions (SSS,
PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
2. Partner with procurement and production teams to track costs and
inventory.

Qualifications

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field. CPA
license preferred.
 Experience:
 Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing or
PEZA-registered company.
 Proficient in Philippine Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
(PAS/IFRS).
 Strong knowledge of BIR regulations and tax filing processes.
 Technical Skills:
 Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with accounting software
 Familiarity with automated workflows and financial reporting tools.
 Soft Skills:
 Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
 Strong communication skills (English proficiency required;
Filipino/Chinese language skills a plus).
 Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
