TASQ is hiring a Compliance Manager for an on-site role in Greenhills.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field, or 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resource Compliance.
Job Overview
The Human Resource Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring the organization adheres to all relevant employment laws, regulations, and internal policies. This includes conducting audits, updating policies, training employees, and addressing compliance issues to reduce risks and foster a fair and ethical work environment. This role serves as a guardian of the company's HR practices to maintain legal and ethical integrity. The position is an individual contributor role without direct reports but involves working closely with HR teams across the organization (in Belize, Colombia, Jamaica, and the Philippines) to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities and Duties

Monitoring Compliance: Regularly reviewing HR practices and procedures to identify potential compliance risks, including hiring, employee classification, compensation, benefits, leave management, and terminations.
Policy Development and Implementation: Creating, updating, and distributing clear HR policies and procedures that align with current regulations and best practices.
Employee Training: Providing training sessions to educate employees and managers on company policies, compliance requirements, and their rights and responsibilities.
Auditing and Investigations: Conducting internal audits to assess adherence to HR policies and laws, investigating complaints related to potential violations, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Employment of Record: Ensuring all legal requirements are met when onboarding and offboarding employees within the Employer of Record (EOR) business unit.
Talent Augmentation: Maintaining a database of positions eligible for hire and ensuring compliance with appropriate compensation bands.
Required Knowledge and Skills

In-depth understanding of Philippine employment laws, with knowledge of Belize, Colombia, and Jamaica laws being a plus.
Extensive knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures.
Ability to identify compliance issues, develop solutions, and take corrective actions.
Strong attention to detail for data analysis and compliance reporting.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multitask and work independently, completing tasks efficiently.
Strong follow-up skills and a detail-oriented approach.
Capacity to collaborate with employees at all levels across various offices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
High level of confidentiality.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including outside regular working hours if necessary.
Performance Evaluation
The HR Compliance Manager will be regularly evaluated to ensure consistent adherence to processes and procedures. Reviews will be conducted to ensure that all employee-related matters are handled impartially and confidentially, and to maintain a professional, efficient, and positive work environment.
