Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with extensive PHP Laminas experience to strengthen our development team. This role requires someone who can confidently contribute to our backend systems while integrating with various third-party services and collaborating effectively with our technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend systems using PHP Laminas
Design, build, and integrate APIs with our platform
Work with existing integrations including Google Maps, Mapbox, Stripe, Twilio, and Cirium
Collaborate with the technical lead to implement best practices
Contribute to technical decisions and architectural improvements
Ensure efficient and scalable system performance
Implement and maintain coding standards and documentation
Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Qualifications:

7-10 years of development experience
Minimum 5 years PHP experience, specifically with Laminas framework
Strong experience working with APIs (both development and integration)
Proficiency with JIRA for project management
Experience with payment gateways, mapping services, and communication APIs
Consulting background preferred
Confidence to speak your mind and provide technical insights
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a flexible environment
